Our L'Atelier workshops are designed for your convenience, offering a variety of activities like baking, pottery, sewing, knitting, handcrafting, and DIY. We have morning sessions for schools, kids' hospitals, and organizations, while afternoons are for kids aged 4-10 in your community.
We also offer weekend sessions in different communities. If you can't find your community listed, you can still join workshops in nearby areas. And if you're planning a private event or function, we can even privatize our bus for you! Visit our booking page or the 'Events' tab for more information.
Our Services
Baking
L’atelier baking workshops are just Yum! While munching on the pleasure of joyous moments of baking, kids learn the art of baking with other enthusiastic kids.
We offer them conception, cupcake, cakes, sweets and confectionery activities to sensitize them to the texture, the colours, and the taste of food. We will teach them several techniques adapted to their age which are an integral part of their learning.
All this takes place in a playful and relaxed atmosphere where they explore the levels of experimentation. Once done, Kids take a bit of these moments home with their own "hand made" pastries!
Pottery
The pottery workshops we offer engrave fine lessons of patience and discipline. They explore the world of clay, modeling and sculpture through different techniques. We use self-hardening clay because it is true that for children who want an IMMEDIATE result, it is frustrating to wait a week! Therefore the self-hardening clay lets the little ones
make their exceptional creations of plates, glass, cups, bowls, masks or other characters. Let us take a trip to the imaginary worlds of our kids!
Sewing
L'atelier sewing workshops prepare children to learn a whole new technique. The step by step learning process on understanding the sewing machine, threading, thread mounting, thread tension adjustment, and stitch length adjustment takes children to a novel method of learning.
Once they get the knack of it, they start making wipes, basic bags, pillows, a scarf, a storage pouch, and washable towels.
The feeling of creating something of their own builds and boosts confidence in children. Many activities await them in the sewing world!
Handcraft/DIY
Our DIY Workshops introduce diverse methods of manual and playful creation to kids. This helps in widening their creative horizons and nurturing a sense of imagination.
The cutting, folding, and gluing steps involved are essential in the overall development of a child's mind and brain. Our kids-oriented concept polishes the skill set of kids for the better. We learn and create together, because here at L'Atelier we are a family.
